The Crown Season 5 Trailer Release Date Revealed

The sixth season of The Crown may have halted production to honor the memory of Queen Elizabeth II (spoiler).

But season five, also known as the Netflix trending tab, is prepared to resurrect and reclaim the reign.

Season five of the royal television series will launch on November 9, or around two months after the queen's passing, according to information provided by Netflix during the Tudum fan gathering.

The news was followed by a teaser trailer that hinted at Princess Diana and then-Prince Charles's probable divorce in the 1990s (yet another spoiler).

The divorces of Prince Andrew and Princess Anne will also be covered in the next seasons, according to Deadline.

According to reports, the season five finale episode would center on the passing of Dodi al-Fayed, who was played by Khalid Abdalla, and Princess Diana, who was performed by Elizabeth Debicki.

There is currently no information on who will play John Mulaney in The Crown, however, Mike Faist could be a possibility.
