Hellbound Gets Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix, First Teaser Released

Netflix has formally revealed that Hellbound will return for a second season.

The South Korean series, which will make its Netflix debut in September 2021,

tells the story of supernatural beings that manifest in spectacular ways to send victims to Hell. Although the program proved popular with viewers,

Netflix didn't formally announce its renewal until the TUDUM fan event. The news was made via a season 2 teaser video.

The Netflix series is written by Choi Gyu-Seok and directed by Yeon Sang-ho, and it is based on Yeon Sang-Hellbound.

ho's Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-Joo, Park Jeong-min, Won Jin-ah, and Yang Ik-June were the main characters in the first season.

After its debut, Season 1 immediately moved up the list of Netflix's most-watched titles,

becoming a huge success for the streaming platform. The series won over both viewers and critics, as seen by its near-perfect 97% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
