was increased with their most impressive performance against Honduras in September 2022.

The streak, which started in 2019, culminated in Argentina's national team winning the Copa America 2021 after defeating Brazil 1-0 at home.

The team led by Lionel Scaloni has had a terrific run, and they are in excellent shape heading into the World Cup in Qatar in November.

Due to their strong play, Argentina qualified for Qatar with a few games remaining, securing a berth over a year before the tournament's finals.

However, despite staying undefeated, they came in second place in the World Cup qualification rankings.

Brazil finished ahead of them, also being undefeated in qualifying, but with more victories and fewer losses.

In any case, if they win against Jamaica on Tuesday, Sept. 27, Scaloni's team would have matched the winning streaks of Spain and Brazil, leaving only Italy to overtake them.

So, for the time being, Italy still has the record for the longest unbeaten streak, but Argentina has a chance to pass the Azzurri.
