Poland's Warsaw (AP) — In response to criticism over his views on Russia's attack on Ukraine, Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has cancelled gigs in Poland.

Waters was scheduled to do two concerts at the Taurone Arena in Krakow in April, but a representative of the venue announced they would no longer take place there.

Polish media sites reported on Saturday that "the manager of Roger Waters decided to withdraw... without giving any reason," according to Lukasz Pietko of Tauron Arena Krakow.

The Krakow shows that were earlier scheduled for April 21–22 were not listed on Waters' "This Is Not a Drill" concert tour website.

A motion to declare artist Roger Waters a non-person was due to be put to a vote by Krakow city councillors the next week in response to their "outrage" at the musician's position on the conflict in Ukraine.

This month, Waters blamed "radical nationalists" in Ukraine for "putting her country on the path of this horrific war" in an open letter to Olena Zelenska, the first lady of Ukraine.
